CHIA NSW has been monitoring the extraordinary challenges posed by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and its potential impact on the Community Housing 2021 Conference from
11 – 12 August 2021.

Although the event is an important exchange for our sector and for CHIA NSW, the safety, health and well-being of our members, delegates, sponsors, exhibitors, speakers, and staff is our primary consideration.

CHIA NSW has made the decision to continue to hold the live event but offer the option for virtual attendance for those who cannot come to Sydney or prefer not to attend the event in person.

Due to expected ongoing onsite restrictions when the lockdown is lifted, the conference program is being revised to include all plenary sessions and a maximum of 3 concurrent sessions in each stream. We will provide further details about the final program shortly.

The conference dinner will be held as planned on Wednesday 11 August at Dockside Darling Harbour.

Virtual registrations will be provided at a discount to in-person registrations. The fee for virtual attendance has been set to ensure the costs of providing a virtual platform for sessions and a virtual exhibition offering, noting this is lower than attending on-site.

Please visit the registration page here for more details.

Please email the Conference Secretariat on to amend your registration and accommodation booking.

Thank you for your understanding and support. We look forward to having you involved in the Community Housing Conference 2021, either on-site at the Sydney Masonic Centre or through the virtual platform.
